Trusted farm sitter in South Carolina's countryside
About the owner Ashley neely
Hi, I'm Ashley!
My love for animals and farm life has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. I'm excited to share a little about my journey and how it led me to start Hoofs Paws and Claws Farm Sitting.
I graduated from Converse College with a degree in Business Administration. After college, I moved to Charleston, South Carolina, where I worked with a real estate appraiser and owned my own pet-sitting business, TLC Pet Sitting. Eventually, I moved back to the Upstate when my sister was expecting her first child to help with our family building supply business, which my grandfather started and my dad now runs with my sister.
In 2020, I decided it was time to follow my heart and pursue my passion for animals, nature, and wildlife. Growing up on a horse farm, I started riding and showing equestrian horses at eight years old. Those early experiences helped shape my love for animals and my desire to build a life surrounded by them.
Today, through Hoofs Paws and Claws Farm Sitting, I get to do what I love most: caring for animals! Whether it's feeding horses and donkeys, looking after dogs and cats, tending to chickens, or keeping up with daily farm routines, I want every animal in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own familiar surroundings.
I know how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your animals while you're away. To me, they're more than just pets or livestock. They're family! My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your animals are receiving the same kindness, patience, and attention I would give my own.
I look forward to meeting you and your furry, feathered, and four-legged family members! 🐴🐾🐓
